Purdie Pascoe global meeting 2024

Last month, the entire Purdie Pascoe team gathered from around the world for our annual Autumn meeting. This year’s event was our largest yet, due to our recent expansion to over 45 colleagues globally and the opening of our US office earlier this year.

We convened at Chicheley Hall in the picturesque English countryside, eager to collaborate with both new and familiar faces. Our core values are: Supportive, Specialist, Committed, and Bold. This year, the meeting theme focussed on embracing Boldness as an organisation.

The meeting began with an interactive workshop where we split into teams to brainstorm innovative ideas for enhancing our market research and Post Market Clinical Follow-Up (PMCF) survey approaches. Following a quick coffee break, we shifted focus to well-being, gaining valuable tips and actions to promote positive practices both in and outside of the workplace.

The first evening featured a well-deserved dinner and a highly anticipated quiz night, fostering friendly competition and camaraderie as colleagues teamed up to vie for the trophy.

Day two kicked off with presentations and company updates on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, charity efforts, and the latest innovations we have been incorporating into our projects. Later sessions included a storytelling workshop for our primary market research team and an interactive PMCF team elevation meeting, both of which generated a wealth of bold new ideas with enthusiasm.

In the afternoon, we engaged in team-building games such as croquet, cornhole, and ring toss, which tested our ability to collaborate and strategize whilst having fun. The final evening was a highlight, with everyone donning their finest attire for a drinks reception and employee awards ceremony.

The meeting was a perfect opportunity to align on our company’s vision, strengthen our bonds, and generate numerous ideas for continually improving our services for our valued clients.

This year’s annual meeting was a brilliant opportunity for our highly talented team to collaborate and connect in-person. We started from a partnership of just two and have grown to become a highly specialist, respected agency, delivering quality insights, with nearly 50 employees. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved to date as a company, and excited about the outcomes from the meeting as we progress on the next phase of our journey.
