Stephen has been a healthcare market research specialist for 25 years, advising healthcare companies across their commercial activities including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, HEOR, Pricing and Reimbursement.
Stephen’s health experience is truly global. In 2000, he moved to Asia and spent 15 years focusing on the Asia Pacific and Middle Eastern regions. He returned to the UK in 2015, where his fluency in French and German has allowed him to work on International multi-country studies, covering the US and Europe.
During his career, Stephen has worked with all types of healthcare businesses, including pharma, medical devices and diagnostics, as well as PR and communications agencies.
More recently, he has had the opportunity to work extensively in Rare Diseases and Oncology, helping to make sure that the latest innovations in healthcare are available to the right patients at the right time. He has broad experience across both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. In fact, his passion is to work with clients on their business questions and to find the best way to answer these, combining traditional approaches with the latest technologies.
In the past, Stephen was in the Great Britain fencing team and won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 1998. Nowadays, though, his sporting activities are restricted to bouncing on the trampoline in the back garden with his kids and chasing his red setters around the Surrey countryside.
